Brighton and Hove is a city where café culture is it. There are great cafés to choose from. Perfect for meeting up with friends, having business meetings or simply fulfilling that need for caffeine and watching the world go by. When in Hove, there are some good options for a solid coffee and Ground Coffee House serves up some pretty fantastic black stuff (and their cakes and sandwiches are pretty fine too). I’ve simply never had a bad coffee experience here. There’s always interesting clientele (well it’s on Church Road so what would you expect?*) and lots of welcoming and chatty people to make friends with should you choose. The room is light and airy and with some eye-catching art on the walls. Coffee is served by smily staff in small but perfectly formed cups and saucers which make the experience all together more agréable.
