Ah, the PPT as it’s affectionately known…one of the best things about living between Preston Park and the Fiveways area of Brighton. The Preston Park Tavern was the venue of choice when we were house hunting in the area and it’s now our venue of choice for family lunches, Sunday roasts, drinks in the garden and dinner à deux. Seeing as it’s staggering distance from our house I think it’s always going to be a winner especially if the team keep up their great work. Booking advised!

Best bits about the Preston Park Tavern:

  1. The staff – they are always welcoming (and always wave when my little one wants to pop in on her way back from nursery)
  2. Their lunchtime burgers (and chips)
  3. The actual pub itself – it’s style and interiors – chic and understated with local art works on the walls (the wall paint inside is Little Greene’s Portland Stone…I know because I asked)
  4. The Cocoa Loco chocolate brownie and ice-cream pudding
  5. That it’s the Most Sustainable Pub of the Year Winner 2013
  6. That it’s actively engaged in the local community and is a sponsor of the local Fiveways Artists group

  1. Couldn’t agree more! The PPT is also the perfect spot for PR girlie lunches – we love it! x
