Say bonjour Granville (and lusting over Moulin Roty toys)

Moulin Roty's Sylvain Rabbit...aka Granville to you and me
Moulin Roty’s Sylvain Rabbit…aka Granville to you and me

This is Granville. He’s a friendly little lapin…all the way from Granville, Normandy (a gift from little G’s grandparents Gaga and Papi from our recent day trip). Why am I introducing him to you? Well I’ve just fallen for the French toy brand Moulin Roty, who made Granville (otherwise known as Sylvain) and for any little one who loves a cuddly (and a parent who loves something with a bit of chic French style)…this is the way to go.

Moulin Roty was established in 1972 and has a great background story of how a group of friends renovated an old mill and created an artistic community (living the dream my friends, living the dream). Their range of beautiful and traditional toys (using only the finest French fabrics), comforters (the dou dou) and cute cuddlies are just divine.

Granville is super cute in his rather natty little shortie outfit and you can even buy clothes for him (I know).ย He’s a keeper to hand down to future cuddly loving generations. I now have my eye on extending la famille with Nini the mouse and Mimosa the cat (sorry, I meant little G has…oops).ย I also now feel a little sorry for every French airport security guard whose job it is to ask for every dou dou to pass through the x-ray tunnel…try prising something that gorgeous out of a little one’s hands!

Little G very happy with her new Granville

Fortunately our nearest stockist is just across the park at Brighton’s Wigwam toy shop (excellent).
