What to do with a bike, when you aren’t on it? #FrenchStyle

When you aren’t on your bike, what’s the next best thing you can do with a bike? I think that’s the question every Frenchman asked himself this summer. Across Normandy, when they weren’t being ridden, we found bikes everywhere…as displays in gardens, in shop windows (I think every patisserie had one), on roundabouts and even as trees. Okay, so Le Tour de France did pass through rather recently so that might have influenced things bit, but I really did appreciate the wonderful célébration du velo at every opportunity.

I wonder if I could get away with a rusted bike in the garden with flowers?
