InHouse Space Brighton – just what your home needs

InHouse Space

When we were selling our lovely mews pad our estate agent suggested the power of the cushion e.g. how the right cushion or throw could transform a sofa or a bed and make the home even more desirable (yes, I know, I don’t usually trust estate agents but ours was pretty fab and she was right with this tip and a few others she had). InHouse Space, tucked away on Gloucester Road, in the North Laine, was where we came to stock up on gorgeous (and not too pricy thank you) Linum cushions…plus a rather heavenly herringbone blue throw to enhance that New England chic we were rocking at the time.

I actually think this shop is probably the place to go this spring if you want to give your home a mini make-over. A few cushions, a throw, a rug, a print and some gorgeous candle holders…and as my daughter says ‘hey presto!’.

Top tips – what to look out for:

  • The ‘designer’ fire extinguishers – the perfect gift for someone who has everything or is very safety conscious! They are great fun and very eye-catching.
  • The Brighton inspired prints and cards – this is one of the best places for celebrating Brighton’s beautiful landmarks in simple, fun screen prints.
  • The shop window…I defy you not to want to go in and have a look once you have glanced in the window…
